LGA Rank: For the period from Oct 2024 – September 2025 the Mid Western Regional LGA was ranked 44 in the state for DV related assault. For the same period Mid Western Regional LGA was ranked 31 in the state for sexual assault and 23 in the state for sexual touching, sexual act and other sexual offences.
Rate: The Mid-Western Regional LGA was 1.4 times the state average for domestic violence related assault compared to the state rate for the period from Oct 2024 – September 2025.
Where offences took place: 88% of domestic violence related assaults took place in residential premises in the period from Oct 2024 – September 2025 in the Mid Western Regional LGA. 82% of sexual offences took place in residential premises in the period from Oct 2024 – September 2025 in the Mid Western Regional LGA.
